What if you got text messages if GPS tracked you as having passed stores? Location-based mobile text advertising is the hot trend in 2009 according to Wired magazine (see link below). This is a parody, and I’m not aware of technology that does this, but maybe this year you’ll get SMS discount offers from stores when they track you passing them up.

Nalts and WifeofNalts take you into this frightening still mostly hypothetical reality to show what kind of behavior it might encourage.
