The main thing is the culture. China has a completely different demographic. You have to ask yourself do The Chinese drink coffee in the mornings, during work. Is there even a demand for coffee in china, and if so is the market already saturated with other companies. going international is a big step. Also you have to make sure your Ads don't translate into something that doesn't make any sense in chinese. One bad Ad campaign internationally and you can kiss the company goodbye.
References :
Every culture has different expectations so you will need to do a lot of research as to how your chain will be received in China and then market it based on that.
