Can I work in marketing& advertising with degree in finance?

I am getting degree in Finance. I hate finance, even though it is pretty useful field. I always loved marketing, its all concept,it’s like chess. Anyways, do you think I have a chance to get an internship?There are so many people trying to get a job in markeing. Where should I start?

You can combine finance and marketing very effectively (and profitably!) Armed with a financial and a marketing knowhow, you can fit in very well in marketing credit cards, banking services, insurance, stocks and bonds and mutual funds.
Consider specializing in direct marketing. This is the accountable, responsible, targetable form of marketing that uses statistics and databasing as secret weapons — wiping the floor with the compeition. It is so much fun it should be illegal. It’s like having a personal army of sales cyborgs who are trained to do nothing but go out there and bring back business.
